My Hi Hats have an annoying ringing sound when hit closed!!!?
I recently bought a pair on Sabian AAX Stage hi hats. At first they sounded great but now whenever i hit them i hear and annyoing hi pitched ring which is really anoyying. Should my hi hats be doing this as i bought them new and have only had them about 5 days or is it something to to with the stand (my stand is very old). I have my hi hat clutch set loosely so when i hit it the hi hats move more and sound more metal and trashy which i like but when i hit it hard or sometimes even soft i can just hear a loud ringing noise. Please Help.
